Description

Assist in mechanical assembly of industrial engines, coolers, generators and related components including alignment of equipment to meet WPI packaging standards. Run screwed piping for equipment utilities, install safety shut-downs, guards/shields as required. Training with Class A, Journeyman, etc. in described duties.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist overhauling various compressor frames and cylinders
  • Assist in setting and aligning coolers, install vessels, run screwed piping for engine utilities,
  • install safety shutdowns, assist in aligning engine to compressor
  • Follow daily instructions from Leaderman, Journeyman & Class A
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have 2 year(s) previous experience
  • Must High School Diploma or equivalent
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted

Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Must have the ability to effectively operate a fork lift
  • Must have the ability to effectively operate overhead cranes
