Job Summary

From the high school athlete who tears an ACL to the retiree who needs a knee replacement, Ortho Central is here for each and every one of our patients. Our expert team includes SEVEN orthopedic surgeons, two sports medicine physicians, physical therapists, and workers' compensation specialists.

Ortho Central has three convenient locations in central Oklahoma: Midwest City, Tri City, and our office in Norman.

Our skilled providers can evaluate and treat a wide range of orthopedic injuries including sports-related fractures, foot and ankle surgery, and hip, knee and shoulder reconstructive surgery.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelors degree, Masters preferred

Experience

  • 4 years of experience as a certified athletic trainer in an orthopedic/Secondary School setting providing direct patient care.
  • Experience working in conjunction with orthopedic/sports medicine physicians.

Cerification/Licensure

  • National certification by the NATA BOC (National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification).
  • Licensed as an athletic trainer in the state of Oklahoma or eligible to obtain licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon completion of unit orientation.
  • Valid Drivers License required.

Compensation/ Benefits

  • $5,000 sign on bonus
  • $23.79- $38.86/hr. depending on previous work experience
