Midland Mortgage is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual who can work collaboratively with operations management in reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting key staffing and productivity metrics for the purpose of identifying and recommending strategic initiatives to improve efficiencies and retention. The Capacity Planning Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing current and future capacity needs across various aspects of our organization. This role requires strong quantitative skills, the ability to interpret data and trends, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Some of the key responsibilities for this role would be as follows:

  • Participate in staff modeling and capacity planning by analyzing historical data and current trends
  • Collaborate with departments to gather input and insights for capacity planning processes
  • Evaluate existing capacity utilization and identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvement
  • Analyze forecast variances, understand variance drivers, and identify opportunities to improve staffing efficiencies
  • Generate reports and presentations to communicate capacity projections, recommendations, and insights to stakeholders
  • Perform trend analysis of absenteeism, PTO, attrition, and productivity - as well as in-depth analysis of anomalies to pinpoint cause and effect
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators related to capacity utilization and make adjustments as needed
  • Analyze new hire, exit, and employee engagement surveys to identify opportunities to improve the Midland work environment, hiring success, and employee retention
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to capacity planning

**This position is onsite in Oklahoma City, not offering hybrid or remote

Position Requirements:

  • 5+ years of work related experience in analytics, modeling, and reporting
  • Bachelor's Degree in math or business related field (Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Finance and Accounting with a 3.25 GPA) or 7+ years of commensurate experience in lieu of specific degree major required
    • Extensive Commensurate experience in lieu of GPA would be considered
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in analysis and reporting
  • In-depth knowledge of reporting concepts and analysis techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skills
  • Experience in managing large amounts of data from various sources
  • Ability to exercise discretion and judgment and make independent decisions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically
  • A strong willingness to learn, adapt, and actively contribute to the success of the organization
