PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITES

  • Submit real estate collateral documents to the appropriate jurisdiction for recording following policy, procedures and regulatory requirements. Submission may occur via hard copy or electronic means.
  • Work with loan officers to correct identified errors on perfection documents.
  • Consistently pull and review reports for outstanding mortgages or title policies to ensure the bank is collateralized and risk is mitigated.
  • Collect exception-clearing documents from loan officers, vendors, title companies, or jurisdictions.
  • Monitor escrow loans (taxes and insurance) and request and mail payment before the due date to ensure federal regulations are met and customer's interests are protected.
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative duties or projects as assigned.

This position may involve some lifting of boxes containing loan files

    JOB SPECIFICATIONS

    Candidates must posses previous loan experience and familiarity with consumer loan documents to be considered. Additionally, basic knowledge and understanding of typical Credit Agreement Covenants, the Uniform Commercial Code, Regulation B, C, Z, RESPA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other federal and state regulations on lending and consumer compliance will be important for success in this role.

    Preference will be given to those with previous insurance related training or experience, including force-placement and escrow, and knowledge of escrow regulations and requirements.
